What are commuting reports?
CommutingGreen has developed an employer emissions calculator that calculates and adds up each of your employee's carbon dioxide emissions from their commute. The specific results of the calculator are presented back to the employer with recommendations and solutions for employers to help reduce each employee's emissions. Each month, CommutingGreen publishes online all employers that have achieved the highest ranking category, GREEN EARTH, meaning that 75% or above of all employees of the listed employers are carbon neutral when commuting to and from work. view rankings page.
The Commuting Report is easy to use and is a great tool for beginning the dialogue with your employees about reducing carbon emissions. The report is based on a short survey for each employee distributed via email. The responses are tallied under the employer's Commuting Green profile and a specific report is generated along with an employer ranking. The employer is informed that the report is ready once the minimum number of responses has been met.
The Commuting Report includes specific recommendations for each category of responses and provides the ability for the employer to act on those recommendations or distribute the results to the employees to act individually on the recommendations. view sample commuting report.
